Plagiarism is a vibrant issue in this instance of information and communication technology and in the internet. With the expansion of communication technologies, plagiarism has become a common and concerning phenomenon. Plagiarism refers to copying or stealing the research work of others without giving the credit to the original researchers. Academic plagiarisms may take many ways like student copy from the book directly without citation or referencing and copy idea without stating the sources. Academic works like assignment, thesis paper, research paper, and dissertation are made from copying different works of others without citing the sources. Plagiarism is the contravention of Intellectual Property rights and at present very few laws are established to protect the plagiarism. The condition is even worse in the developing and underdeveloped countries and the easy access to internet people getting more sources before them and the probability of plagiarism is increasing day by day. Plagiarism should be protected strictly otherwise the writers will be interested to copy the information without any references. It is more frustrating that the students of the online courses often try to copy the information in preparing their assignment.
