What is Literary genre

Literary genre is a literary composition’s category which may be determined by literary tone, content technique, language properties, styles or even length. Literary works possess literary properties apart from there characteristics. For instance, literary works can possess forms such as specific organizations or arrangements and periods such as literary eras, cultures, and milieus in which produced. The common genres in literature are epic, tragedy, comedy, novel, short story, and creative nonfiction.
